Ever since I was a small child, I’ve been enthralled by the spirit world. From the soft voices that have whispered messages in my ears to the colourful visions I see when I close my eyes, there’s never been a doubt that there’s more to our reality than biology or hard matter.

Spirit is in everything. It’s the force that powers all living things. Anyone, provided they have an open heart and a curious mind, can readily connect with the spiritual energy that surrounds them. It’s not a connection exclusive to those who have a “special gift.” We are all sentient beings who share in the collective consciousness we’ve been born into.

I’ve always turned to writing and art-making to metabolise my experiences. It’s how I release and regulate emotions, integrate what I’ve learned, and open myself to new wisdom from the spirit world.

Art-making has made me more aware of my relationship to the spiritual reality and spiritual healing has helped me connect even deeper with my intuitive art practice. I marry art with spiritual healing to unlock the beauty in every day.

Fun facts about me

• I grew up in the northern rivers of New South Wales, near Byron Bay.

• When my mother was pregnant with me, she had a lucid dream that her child was called Abigail. This is what inspired my name and coincidentally, I am also a lucid dreamer.

• My team of spirit guides appear as horses (hence my book “My horse is my guide”).

• The first time I spirit channelled was in 2021 while I was journal writing.

• In 2018, I rescued my dog from being strangled by a python snake.
